Terms of service

Monitor responsibly.
Expect honest limits.

These terms govern use of rotrail.net, the RoTrail Chrome extension, and optional account-linking services.

Effective 30 August 2026. RoTrail is an independent third-party tool and is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation.

What RoTrail provides

RoTrail is a browser extension that periodically compares selected fields exposed by public Roblox-related endpoints and can create local browser notifications when a difference is detected. The website provides product information, a local simulation, support, and optional account linking.

No affiliation

RoTrail is not made, endorsed, sponsored, or operated by Roblox Corporation. Roblox, its names, and related marks belong to their respective owners. Your use of Roblox remains governed by Roblox's own terms and policies.

Responsible use

You may use RoTrail only for lawful, respectful purposes. You may not use it to harass, threaten, stalk, dox, discriminate against, impersonate, or manipulate another person; bypass privacy controls; collect private information; overload an API; reverse engineer a credential system for abuse; or violate platform rules or applicable law.

Public availability is not blanket permission to weaponize information. Stop tracking a profile when your use would create a reasonable safety or privacy concern.

Your account and key

The Free tier does not require a RoTrail account. Optional Google sign-in and an extension key may be used to confirm a paid entitlement. You are responsible for protecting that key and for activity performed through it. Do not publish it, sell it, or share it outside your own permitted use. RoTrail may revoke a compromised or abused key.

Accuracy and availability

RoTrail is scheduled monitoring, not an instant event feed. Chrome may delay background tasks, devices sleep, endpoints fail, rate limits apply, fields become private, and APIs change. RoTrail does not guarantee that every change will be detected, that an alert will arrive at a particular time, or that historical information will remain available.

Plans and billing

Plan features, profile limits, prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and taxes are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider under its own terms. If a subscription renews automatically, you may cancel future renewals through the method provided at purchase or by contacting support.

Refund requests should be sent to [email protected] with the purchase email and receipt reference. Refund rights required by applicable law are not limited by these terms.

Software changes

RoTrail may add, remove, suspend, or modify features to improve reliability, safety, or compliance. Paid features will not be materially misrepresented. If a core paid service becomes unavailable for an extended period, RoTrail should provide an appropriate remedy under applicable law.

Intellectual property and feedback

RoTrail's original code, copy, visual identity, and site design are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant ownership. If you send product feedback, RoTrail may use it without an obligation to compensate you, but will not present private correspondence as a public endorsement without permission.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, RoTrail is provided “as is” and “as available.” RoTrail disclaims implied warranties that cannot reasonably apply to a third-party public-data monitor. RoTrail is not responsible for decisions made from an alert, a missed alert, upstream data, or third-party conduct. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Suspension and termination

RoTrail may suspend access for abuse, security risk, chargeback fraud, unlawful activity, or material breach of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time and can request deletion of optional account data under the Privacy Policy.

Changes, disputes, and contact

Material revisions will update the effective date. Applicable consumer law and mandatory local rights continue to apply. Before starting a formal dispute, contact [email protected] so the issue can be investigated.
